Kapa Haka

Our school was treated to a performance by the school Kapa Haka group.  Great to see our Year 5 and 6 students taking on leadership roles within the group.

Whole School Big Day Out

This year our school went on a trip to the Christchurch Art Gallery, Christchurch Museum and the Margaret Mahy playground.  What a great trip with lots to see.  Here a few shots of us at the playground. 

Music Lessons

Janet Glassey was funded to teach selected students a variety of instruments this year.  We had students who were learning the keyboard, ukulele and guitar.  Each group performed to our school community.  Well done. 

Pasifika Invite

In Term 4 the Pasifika dance group performed for the community.  What a fantastic performance!

Flower Hour

This term Mrs McCully organised Flower Hour.  We got to create our own floral arrangements.  Well done to Riki and Jaslene who organised the best floral arrangements. 

Chess Tournament

This year Mr Wheeler took the chess club every Monday at Big Play.  At the end of the year a chess tournament was held.  Congratulations to Alesha Large who won. 

Year 6 Big Day Out

This year the Year 6s were treated again to their Big Day Out.  First we started at the Taiora: QEII swimming pool before heading to a very close game of ten pin bowling.  The trip finished off at Mega Air.  What a great day!
