Hangi

On Wednesday we had a hangi.  Thanks to Ros, Sarah, Graeme and Sindy for organising and cooking.  It was delicious!

LDA Dance Competition 2019

Our class put a lot of time and effort into our dance Backseat Driver.  We competed against other schools on Tuesday night and we got runner up in the mega crew division.  We were very excited!  This is us dressed up before the show.

Stella

This week we had Stella come and talk to us about how it is important to not only look after our environment, but to also look after our native species of birds.  She was a wealth of information and she got a lot of it from reading!  We were excited to get our Duffy books as well. 

Life Education

In Term 3 we had a visit from Harold.  Apart from telling us some terrible jokes, we talked about how we can look after ourselves.  We also got to take home a Life Education book. 

Samoan Language Week Celebration

During Term 2 it was Samoan Language Week.  One Friday we had a celebration.  Our class completed art and some of us got to perform up on stage. 

 

End of Term 2

It was the end of Term 2 and we had the fabulous Christine and Paul Richards donate sausages for us.  We really did appreciate it!  They were delicious.
