Kapa Haka Taster Session

On Tuesday we had the option to take part in the Kapa Haka taster session.  We had a lot of fun!

Water Fun Afternoon

It was a hot day in Term 1 and our school decided to have a water fight.  There was a water slide, a water gun fight and sprinklers put out.  I don't know who got more wet...the teachers or the children!

Team Building

At the start of the year we were working on being part of a team.  We had to get our team from one end of the court to the other without stepping out of the 3 hoops we were given.  It was challenging but it was great to hear encouraging words being spoken. 

First Assembly 2019

Look at these fantastic children who got certificates at the first assembly for the year.  Well done team!

Story Telling

Our school is following the story telling programme.  We listen to different stories, draw story maps and come up with actions to retell the story.  Room 2 worked in groups to come up with actions to retell 'Why the Seagull Cries'.

Buddy Reading

Every Friday Room 2 does buddy reading with Room 5.  It is great for us to demonstrate leadership and reading skills.
